Ishvara, the source of the universe - the one because of whom everything exists.
WELCOME TO ISHVARA YOGA
What is Ishvara?
The word Ishvara comes from Vedanta—one of the world’s most ancient and expansive spiritual philosophies, rooted in the Vedas, the sacred scriptures of India.
In Vedantic understanding, Ishvara is both the intelligent creator of the universe and the material source from which it arises. The universe moves through endless cycles of creation and dissolution—and every atom, every particle, is infused with the presence of Ishvara.
Ishvara is everywhere—not only permeating all that exists, but also transcending it.
You, me, and everything around us is born of Ishvara. We are created through Ishvara, sustained by Ishvara, and ultimately, we return to Ishvara.
At Ishvara Yoga, our practice is not about achieving or arriving somewhere outside of ourselves. It’s about coming home—again and again—to the wholeness and perfection that already lives within us.
Through movement, breath, and presence, we remember who we truly are.
Namaste.
Hatha
Hatha Yoga offers a grounding and accessible approach to yoga. It focuses on the foundations—breath, physical postures, and mindful movement—making it ideal for beginners, those returning to their mat, or anyone seeking a slower, more intentional practice. Each session includes breathwork, meditation, and a closing relaxation to restore balance and presence.
Vinyasa
Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic and flowing practice that links breath with movement. Through seamless transitions between poses, we build strength, flexibility, and focus—while cultivating a calm, steady mind. This style supports cardiovascular health and energizes the whole body, all while grounding us in breath awareness. Each session includes breathwork, meditation, and a closing relaxation. Some prior experience with yoga is recommended.
Yin
Yin Yoga is a quiet, meditative practice that invites stillness and deep release. In long-held poses, we gently target the body's deeper layers—connective tissues, fascia, and joints—supporting greater flexibility and energetic flow. Rooted in the wisdom of the meridians, Yin Yoga also nurtures emotional balance and mental clarity. It’s an invitation to slow down, listen, and soften from within.
